Making Connections Community

At the close of the Making Connections Seminar project, many of you expressed a strong desire to preserve this community of practice: to continue to nurture the relationships forged and the collaborations initiated, and to learn from each other.In response to your overwhelming request to keep the conversation going, this blog is the first step in extending our seminar and supporting each other as we work toward sustaining and successfully advancing our respective campus projects.

As per your suggestions, the blog will strive to serve as:

• An update on Making Connections Network-Wide Events
  • ePortfolio Conferences
  • Student Showcases
  • Invited Speakers
  • Workshops
  • Online Seminars
• An update on Making Cohort Connections Events and Cross-Campus Projects
• A forum for discussion of themes pertaining to ePortfolio implementation, best practices, or case studies, open to all Making Cohort Connections participants as well as to a wider audience
• A space for collective, creative problem-solving
• A space for highlighting the work of various member campuses (2 Featured Campuses per semester)
